ACE OF CUPS
Love. Emotions. Introspective thoughts. Secret feelings not yet expressed. Crying. New feelings developing or new relationship.

RX: Sadness. Crying. Emotional outburst. Acting over-emotionally in a way that is disturbing.

TWO OF CUPS
Connection. Attraction. Relationship. A strong connection. Proposal of marriage. Feeling in harmony with yourself and the world.

RX: Break-up. Relationship that is no longer desired. Being too caught up in a relationship to notice what is going on around you. Neglecting others you love. Jealousy.

THREE OF CUPS
Friendship. Deep connections. Celebration. Having a nice time. Receiving hospitality.  Working well together.

RX: Clash between friends. Drugs. Alcoholism. Bad company.

FOUR OF CUPS

Apathy, boredom. Loss through inaction and passivity. Feeling disenchanted. Ignoring gifts and opportunities. Losing interest. Being unaware of others. Getting lost in thoughts and inner worlds.

Do not assume you know how someone feels by the way they look.

RX: Taking action, making a decision. Preventing loss. Losing love of life. Coming back from a hiatus.

FIVE OF CUPS
Disappointment. Regret. Negative feelings, pessimism. Emotional conflict. Seeing only what you have lost, not what is still left. Finding it difficult to move on.

RX: Newfound courage. The return of hope. An appreciation for what remains.

SIX OF CUPS
Memories. Childgood nostalgia. Sentimentality. Somebody what reminds you of the comfort of somebody you have known before. Caring for someone more vulnerable. Indulging in simple, childish pleasures.

RX: Looking ahead instead of backwards. Honest appraisal of the past, particularly childhood. Stripping away of illusions. Dark innocent facade. But what does it hide? Corruption or loss of innocence. Wanting to stay young forever.

SEVEN OF CUPS
Wishful thinking. Strange and captivating ideas. Fantasizing. Day dreaming. Masking our true feelings. Confusion on what to pick.

RX: Realism. Assessment of what needs to be done. Putting dreams into action. Imagining you can do more than you can. "Choices" that aren't real, just our fantasies... or fears.

EIGHT OF CUPS
Possibility of change in a stable situation. Moving on. Flashes of excitement, movement. Lost interest. Seeking new horizons. Going on a journey of self-discovery. Realizing the current cycle is over. Abandoning a hopeless situation.

RX: Seeing the value in what you have. Resisting desire to move on. Staying the course. Lunacy, becoming moonstruck and deluded. Moving home or country. Changing job or career.

NINE OF CUPS
Joyous time of celebration. Wishes coming true. Celebration party with your nearest and dearest favorite people. Accomplishment. Getting what you want.

RX: Frustration. An over-emphasis on personal desires and fantasies. Doing what brings you pleasure but you know is dangerous. Experimenting with drugs or hazardous substances.

TEN OF CUPS
Happiness. Joy. Love. Enjoying family life. A sense of contentment and inner peace. Humble, homey achievements bring satisfaction. Love comes first.

RX: Dysfunctional family. Not being okay emotionally. Ruined relationship. Unhappiness.

PAGE OF CUPS
Someone imaginative, dreamy, reflective. Let your heart lead the way. Spending time allowing feelings or fantasies to flow into awareness without judgment. Can mean menstruation or pregnancy. An emotional youth. Creativity and inspiration. Can be an older person with youthful qualities. Amorous thoughts.

RX: Thinking more clearly. Enthusiasm cut short. Over-emotional hysteria. A reluctance to grow up and leave childhood dreams behind.

KNIGHT OF CUPS

A creative, sensitive person. An "art" type that can be rather impractical. A dreamer, whose dreams conflict with the pressures and responsibilities of everyday life. An inconsistent lover, he may find it hard to fully join in a relationship. May feel a contradiction between his own dreaminess and the demands of his place in the world.

RX: The dreamy, or introverted side becomes stronger. May resent demands people make on him. A creative person whose energy is sometimes wasted in conflict. The tendency to rush into things based off emotional rather than rationale.

QUEEN OF CUPS
A warm, loving, sensitive woman. Loyal, honest and completely trustworthy. The motherly and nourishing type. Shy, but colorful in spirit.
A wise person, possibly secretive and mysterious. Someone able to love very intensely without losing sense of self.

RX: Uncertainty. Somebody fearful, especially in connection with love. The possibility of drinking too deeply from the waters of fantasy and illusion.

KING OF CUPS
Emotional, at times moody. Prone to loving music and enjoyment of social activity or fun. A dreamer, someone with a deep inner life.
He or she is very calm, but this may conceal more difficult emotions.

RX: Something disturbs a person's outer tranquility. Can mean someone becoming very emotional. Feelings so strong they overwhelm and at times restrict. Somebody who has repressed creativity in favor of duty. Overindulgence into fantasy.
